Wow!

This is an incredible way to display family portraits!  Such a beautiful mural.

Family Portraits

Every time I book a family portrait session, most Moms want to know what to dress their family in.  Often times they want to dress their family in the same colors (all in black, all in white), but I recommend trying something a little less obvious.  Instead of matchy-matchy, try coordinating your family's wardrobe by finding colors that compliment each other.  I found these nice visuals on pinterest.com to inspire your wardrobe choices for your next session!!!

Introducing Haylee!

Yay...a senior that I haven't taught before!  Haylee will be graduating from P-O HS in the spring.  She heard about my photography business through word of mouth (thank you however it was).  She was a bit nervous when we first started out but with the help of her friend, Brittany, (who became my assistant) she quickly loosened up.  We had a lot of fun moving around from one location to the next.  Wait until you see her eyes as they just POP in her portraits.  Enjoy a few pics from Haylee's session.

Introducing Andrew!

YES, another former student :)  It was my absolute pleasure to take Andrew's senior pictures. He's a true All-American guy...he's good at sports, an excellent student, and one of the nicest kids I know.  It doesn't hurt that he's handsome too!  We had to schedule two sessions because of the weather.  Neither day cooperated, however, we were able to get through them with some really cool shots.  Enjoy checking out some of the photos from our session(s)!

Introducing Taylor!

Another former student...are you surprised???  Taylor (my 3rd Taylor of this senior season) started off the session a bit nervous, but it didn't take long for her to loosen up, especially with her Mom and Grandmother around.  They stood behind me doing who knows what but they definitely made her crack up several times.  We moved around to a few locations during her session, but the field shots by far are my favorite.  The light was bright, beautiful and yummy!  For the first time I got kicked off a property.  I knew it would happen eventually but it made our session a bit more interesting!  Enjoy Taylor looking beautiful!!

Introducing Shelby!

Shelby is another of my former students...go figure :)!!!  We had one heck of a time trying to figure out where to hold her session.  We decided last minute that we would walk around Philipsburg and shoot wherever we saw something interesting and then head over to Cold Stream and end the session at the soccer fields.  It was a beautiful day although it didn't start out that way.  We had already cancelled one session due to weather and we are lucky that the day turned out the way it did.  We had fun trying out some new/different shots and thank goodness Shelby was a good sport!
Enjoy her beautiful portraits!

Rebecca

I know that I posted Rebecca's images on Facebook last week, but because the quality looks poor I decided to post them on my blog.  They look a million times better here!

Rebecca is another former student of mine.  I taught her in two of my history classes at WB.  We had a good time a couple weeks ago driving around to some back country locations.  She took me down roads I never knew existed!  Joining us was her sister Rachael who jumped into a few shots.  Both are beautiful girls and my camera loved them!  I have to say that Rebecca was a good sport during this session.  She wanted to do anything to get the right shot including getting wet!

Enjoy!

Matt

Hi everyone!  It has been a while since I posted on my blog.  With the summer soooo incredibly busy for me, I really didn't have time to keep it updated.  I did have good intentions at the beginning of summer.  I figured since Facebook its changing its photo settings and causing pictures to look pixilated, I would get back to the blog.  At least I know my pics will look great on here!

Matt is another of my students.  I taught him in 10th grade and now again in my dual enrollment history class.  Matt is a great kid who is always smiling.  However, I did catch a few serious looks here and there throughout our session.  We had fun on an overcast afternoon searching the "city" for some good spots to take his senior pics.  We had one heck of an adventure that I'm sure neither of us will forget.  Enjoy!

Hannah and Grace

Thursday I had the pleasure of shooting with a friend and fellow photographer Jen Carver from Jen Carver Photography.  The rain changed our plans but everything turned out wonderful in the end.  We got to shoot Jen's gorgeous daughters Hannah and Grace.  Jen did wonderful job of styling the shoot...from the cute teepee to the beautiful clothes.  It was so much fun shooting these two beautiful models and catching up with an old friend.
